Simple menu’s and beautifully prepared. South of the Sorgue. Bertrand knew the proprietor socially and whilst saying the food was good as was the local beer and good value. I would have been happy to stay there longer but my foodie partner and family member was ‘on a mission’ as we say in the UK.. Open air, fresh yet warm evening weather overlooking the narrow culverted stream in the heart of Le Thor . I am not sure what Bertrand ordered for us both but looked and tasted like a clotted cheese salad. I have to say it left a lovely aftertaste on the palette. Service was very responsive, 100%.

Very lovely customer service experience. English language was an option as spoken language even a charming story happened to me to listen to by the waiter about the local wind currents called "mystral". The place is half overarching the local little stream, the Sorgue. You get direct view for the tiny "city center" as actually you are in the middle of the small town of "le Thor". Local appetizers were offered automatically for the local beer. Both were tasty and worth having. Pricing is reasonable for beverages, no dishes have been tasted by me at that time, but for next time I am going for it. I consider café Rosa as a good choice to go!

Une très belle surprise au cœur du joli village du Thor ! Nous avons découvert Le Café-Restaurant aux Abonneurs un peu par hasard, et ce fut un vrai coup de cœur. La cuisine est traditionnelle, mais préparée avec soin, finesse et beaucoup de goût. Les plats sont généreux, savoureux et bien présentés — on sent le plaisir de faire plaisir. L’ambiance est familiale, simple et chaleureuse, on s’y sent bien dès les premiers instants. Mention spéciale à la serveuse, d’une grande gentillesse et toujours attentive à chaque table. Un moment délicieux et sincère, comme on les aime. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation !
